Adjust your Torq settings to tailor your experience.

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Customizing your settings in Torq allows you to personalize your experience. Click your username at the bottom of the navigation bar to access the following options:

  • View your Torq community username: To protect your privacy, your Torq community username is different from your real name. It appears below your personal information and can be updated by you or Torq Support.

    • Usernames can be 2–50 characters long and may include hyphens, spaces, numbers, and special characters. To apply changes, re-login to the Torq community.

  • Edit your user profile: Click Edit to access your user profile settings and update your first name, last name, community name, and avatar.

    • You can manually replace the default Torq- or SSO-provided avatars by uploading an image of your choice. User profile settings are also accessible from the Settings > General page.

    • Uploads are limited to image file formats with a maximum file size of 1 MB.

  • Create API keys: Generate a Torq API key to execute workflow steps on your behalf or make Torq API calls from external services.

  • Set Knowledge Hub widget visibility: Choose whether to show or hide the Knowledge Hub widget, located in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

  • Customize the display theme:

    • Light

    • Dark

    • System (syncs with your OS/browser default)

  • Log out: Sign out of your current session when needed.

Timestamps logged during your Torq session are automatically derived from your browser's timezone settings.
