If you don't see a step you need, you can create your own in various ways, such as using the Send an HTTP Request step or Torq’s Step Builder, and share it across your organization.
Use Torq Steps in Torq
To use Torq steps in a workflow, you must first generate a Torq API key in the workspace by following these instructions. This key will be required when configuring the Torq steps integration in Torq.
Step One: Create a Torq API Key
Follow These Instructions: Follow the instructions to create a Torq API key.
It is recommended that you create a service API key with a Torq role so that the Torq integration will not be associated with any specific user.
Note that only workspace owners can create service API keys - non-owners creating a Torq integration will have to use their private API key.
API keys can also be used programmatically via the Torq public API.
Copy Information: Copy the Client ID and Client Secret. You will not be able to see them again.
Step Two: Create a Torq Steps Integration in Torq
Navigate to the Integration: Go to Build > Integrations > Steps > Torq and click Add.
Enter the Information:
Give the integration a unique and meaningful name.
Enter the Client ID you copied earlier.
Enter the Client Secret you copied earlier.
Finalize: Click Add.
