BreachRx

Integrate BreachRx with Torq to automate incident creation, task tracking, and response coordination across your legal, privacy, and security teams using API key configuration.

BreachRx is a cyber incident response management (CIRM) platform that generates tailored incident response plans, assigns and tracks response actions across security, legal, privacy, and communications teams, and maps incidents against 180+ global cybersecurity, data breach, and privacy regulations, so you can run a coordinated, defensible response and meet your notification obligations on time.

If you don't see a step you need, you can create your own in various ways, such as using the Send an HTTP Request step or Torq's Step Builder, and share it across your organization.

Use BreachRx steps in a Torq workflow

Step One: Generate a BreachRx API key

  1. Navigate to API keys: In the BreachRx platform, go to Technologies > API Keys page.

  2. Create a key: Click Add to generate a new API key. BreachRx issues a key and secret pair.

  3. Save information: Copy and save both the API key and the secret. Be sure to save them somewhere, you cannot access them again after leaving the page.

  4. Note your organization name: Your organization name is the custom portion of your BreachRx app URL. You'll need it to authenticate API requests.

Step Two: Create a BreachRx Steps integration in Torq

  1. Navigate to integration: In Torq, go to Build > Integrations > Steps > BreachRx and click Add Instance.

  2. Set up integration:

    1. Instance name: Give the integration a unique and meaningful name.

    2. Organization name: Enter the custom portion of your BreachRx app URL.

    3. API Key: Paste the API key you copied earlier.

    4. Secret Key: Paste the secret you copied earlier.

  3. Finalize: Click Add to save.
