Use Atlassian Steps in Torq
You need admin permissions in Atlassian to create an API key. If you are not an admin, contact your IT department.
Step One: Create an Atlassian Admin API Key
Navigate to the Atlassian Admin Console: Go to Settings > API keys > Create API Key.
Create an API Key:
Enter a meaningful name.
Select an expiration date that is less than a year away.
Click Next.
(Optional) Select whether you want to assign scopes and choose the access level.
Review the key's details.
Click Create API key.
Finalize: Copy the Organization ID and API key to save them for later, and click Done.
Step Two: Create an Atlassian Steps Integration in Torq
Navigate to the Integration: Go to Build > Integrations > Steps > Atlassian and click Add Instance.
Configure the Integration:
Enter a unique and meaningful name.
Paste the API key you copied earlier.
Finalize: Click Add.
