Learn to set up a Jira step integration and Jira Cloud trigger in Torq, empowering Atlassian Admins to automate agile workflows efficiently.

Create a Jira Step Integration

  1. Go to Integrations > Steps > Jira

  2. Click Add

  3. Give your integration a unique and meaningful name.

  4. Click Add

  5. On the request screen, click Accept to allow Torq access to your Atlassian account.

Create a Jira Trigger in Torq

You must be an Atlassian Admin in order to create a webhook in Jira

  1. Go to Build > Integrations > Triggers > Jira Cloud and click Add.

  2. Give the integration a unique and meaningful name.

  3. Copy the generated webhook.

  4. In the Atlassian Administration console, open your Jira Administration console.

  5. Click on Settings > System.

  6. Select Webhooks from the left pane under the Advanced section, and click +Create a WebHook.

  7. Give the webhook a unique and meaningful name.

  8. In the URL parameter, paste the Torq webhook copied earlier in step 3.

  9. Select the events you want to subscribe to. When these events occur, a request will be sent to the Torq webhook. You can trigger workflows based on some or all of these events.

  10. Click Create.
