Updated over a week ago

Jira Cloud Administration helps monitor projects and cloud processes from Atlassian.

Get a Jira Cloud Administration API Key

Note that you must be an admin in the Atlassian network to acquire the API key needed for this integration. If you are not an admin, message your IT department.

  1. Go to admin.atlassian.com and select the proper organization.

  2. Go to Settings > API Keys > Create API Key.

  3. Enter a meaningful name.

  4. By default, the key expires one week from today. If you want to change the expiration date, pick a new one under Expires on. You cannot select a date longer than a year from the creation date.

  5. Click Create, copy the Organization ID and API Key, and save them in a secure location. You will not be able to access them again.

  6. Click Done.

Create a Jira Cloud Steps Integration in Torq

  1. Go to Build > Integrations > Steps > Jira Cloud Administration and click Add.

  2. Give the integration a unique and meaningful name.

  3. Enter the email associated with the API key created earlier - the administrator email for the Cloud Administration.

  4. Paste the API key created earlier.

  5. Click Add.
