If you don't see a step you need, you can create your own in various ways, such as using the Send an HTTP Request step or Torq’s Step Builder, and share it across your organization.

Use VirusTotal Steps in Torq

Step One: Create a VirusTotal API Key

  1. Sign in to VirusTotal: Sign in to your VirusTotal account.

  2. Get your Token: Click on your username, then click API Key.

  3. Copy your API Key: copy your API key to use later in Torq.

Step Two: Create a VirusTotal Steps Integration in Torq

  1. Navigate to Integration: Go to Build > Integrations > Steps > VirusTotal and click Add.

  2. Fill in the Details:

    1. Give the integration a unique and meaningful name.

    2. In the API Key field, paste the VirusTotal API key that you copied previously in step one.

    3. In the Base URL field, paste the VirusTotal base URL.

    4. Click Test Integration to verify the integration is configured correctly.

  3. Finalize: Click Add.
