Notes in Torq Cases: Efficiently Store information

Learn how to store information within Torq cases efficiently with notes.

Updated over a week ago

Use the dedicated Notes tab within the case to:

  1. Save important information in an easily accessible location.

  2. Store detailed information related to the case, such as scan results, reports, and more.

The note body supports up to 15,000 characters. You can use the editor formatting options or HTML.

Creating, updating, or deleting notes is logged in the case timeline. It shows who made the change, with user names for individuals and workflow execution links for automated processes.

  • Mark a note as key to make it visible in the case Overview tab. This ensures that anyone reviewing the case can quickly access important information.

  • Mark a note as public to indicate its potential communication with external stakeholders outside of Torq case management.
