Shodan

Integrate Shodan with Torq's automated workflows to maximize the Internet Intelligence Platform.

Updated over 4 months ago

Shodan is a search engine for Internet intelligence.

Torq enables quick and easy integration with Shodan, so you can automate anything and everything within moments. Torq's public Shodan steps include:

  • Crawl an IP or netblock

  • Get information for a domain

  • Get the status of a scan request

  • Perform a DNS lookup

  • +3 more...

If you don't see a step you need, you can create your own in various ways, such as using the Send an HTTP Request step or Torq’s Step Builder, and share it across your organization.

Use Shodan Steps in Torq

Step 1: Get a Shodan API Key

  1. Open Shodan: Navigate to Account > Overview.

  2. Reveal the API Key: Click Show to reveal the API key.

  3. Finalize: Copy the key to save it for later.

Step 2: Create a Shodan Steps Integration in Torq

  1. Navigate to the Integration: Go to Build > Integrations > Steps > Shodan and click Add Instance.

  2. Configure the Integration:

    1. Enter a unique and meaningful name.

    2. Paste the Shodan API key that you copied earlier.

  3. Finalize: Click Add.
