Organization Management: Manage Workspaces in Torq

Learn how Organization Managers can access key metrics and information for all the organization's workspaces in a single glance.

Updated over a week ago

Track key metrics and information about your organization’s workspaces in Torq using the Organization Management page.

Users with the Organization Manager role can access this page, which contains organization-level administrative information. They can view the complete list of workspaces, identify workspace owners, and monitor key metrics related to the Torq license. This information enhances administrative oversight and empowers you to optimize your organization’s use of Torq.

To maintain data segregation, the Organization Manager can access high-level information and metrics about all the organization's workspaces without required membership of each workspace.

Accessing the Organization Management Page

Contact Torq support to set up an Organization Management page for your organization.

  1. Access the Organization Management Section:

    • Access the Organization Management page by selecting Organization Management at the bottom of the workspaces list.

    • Only users with the Organization Manager role can see the Organization Management option in their workspaces list.

  2. Logging In and Inviting Additional Organization Managers:

    • The Organization Manager can invite additional users directly or via SSO with appropriate claims mapping (e.g., using "email" as the claim name and the user’s email address as the value).

Understanding the Metrics

All the organization's workspaces are listed, with each entry including the following details:

  • Metrics:

    • Workflows: The number of billable workflows in the workspace includes all published workflows, excluding those classified as nested only, and those triggered by Torq Cases or System Events.

    • Nested workflows: The number of published workflows classified as nested only.

    • Workflow editors: The number of users with the privileges required to edit workflows.

    • Case operators: The number of users with the privileges required to manage and perform actions on cases.

    • Runners: The number of self-hosted step runners in the workspace.

  • Owners List:

    • A list of users who have the Owner role in the workspace.
