Auto-generate Resolution Details with Socrates AI

Use Socrates to auto-generate case resolution details based on relevant case data.

Socrates allows you to auto-generate resolution details when resolving or closing cases. This enhances efficiency by reducing time spent manually summarizing case details, enabling analysts to focus on more complex case-resolution aspects. Socrates references all relevant case data to ensure that the generated text is comprehensive and useful.

To auto-generate resolution details when resolving or closing a case:

  1. Navigate to the Case: Go to Investigate > Cases and select the relevant case.

  2. Change the Status to Resolved or Closed: Either click the status in the case preview and select Resolved or Closed, or drag and drop the case into the Resolved or Closed columns.

  3. Select a Reason: Click the dropdown and choose a reason for resolving or closing the case.

  4. Auto-generate the Details: Click the toggle to Auto-generate resolution details with Socrates. This will set your preference for Socrates when resolving or closing future cases.

    1. If the answer is not satisfactory, you can manually edit the text or click Regenerate to generate a new text. Socrates will inform you if there isn't enough case information to generate resolution details to support the selected reason.

  5. (Optional) Attach a File: Click Attach Files to add files to support the resolution reason. Attachments must be manually added and cannot be auto-generated.

  6. Finalize: Click Confirm.

  • Resolution details are restricted to 1000 characters.

  • Auto-generating the resolution details of multiple cases is currently unsupported.
