Attachments in Torq Cases: Add Context and Information

Learn how to use attachments in Torq cases to enrich context and add information through screenshots, documents, and other files.

Attach files to cases to supplement them with additional details, such as screenshots, source code, relevant documents, and more.

At this stage, we recommend avoiding potentially malicious files as attachments, as other users may accidentally download and open them.

Add an Attachment

Upload files from your computer:

  • Go to the Attachments tab in the expanded case view and click Upload Files [OR]

  • From the case timeline:

When an image is included in a timeline comment, it's automatically saved as an attachment.

Access an Attachment

Once an attachment has been added to a case, you can download the file from the expanded Cases portal:
