Assign Tasks to Torq Cases: Interact with Assignees

Learn how to automate interactions with case assignees by assigning tasks directly to cases in Torq.

Updated over 10 months ago

Improve team efficiency and streamline communication within Torq by automatically assigning tasks to cases. Tasks prompt the user to either acknowledge a message or provide requested information. Designed with Torq Interact, tasks integrate seamlessly, with pending ones easily trackable from the case's main view or timeline.

Setting Up a Task

  • Incorporate the Interact operator into your workflow.

  • In the Interaction Flow Settings, choose Case task as the Access type and input the relevant case ID.

When assigning multiple tasks simultaneously, the sequence is unpredictable.

Canceling a Task

  • When configuring the settings of an Interaction Flow, you can check the box Allow end-users to cancel tasks.

  • Analysts can then "delete" pending tasks and redo the handling process should they need to start handling a case from scratch.

  • When a pending task is canceled, the related workflow execution is also stopped. A new workflow execution is created when the analyst restarts the task.
